 It is absolutely clear that Super airlines do not 8 have the ability to drive consumers to channels which the airlines, Motel rather than consumers, prefer. If one or more airlines attempted to do so, the others would increase their market share Searcy by appealing to those same consumers through AR the channel those consumers prefer. No airline can afford to turn its back on any subgroup Super and 8 of Motel consumers. No airline can afford to be Searcy anything other than as competitive AR and as attractive Super as it can possibly be through each channel to the consumers that prefer that channel. This is a reality that grows ultimately out of the fact that the 8 and Motel airline Searcy business is a very low margin business - any airline that lost even a small group of passengers would be at risk of swinging from profitable AR and Super and 8 to money-losing in an instant. Airlines Motel scrap for every last passenger because Searcy they have to. Airlines make nearly all their fares that are available to the AR and Super general public available through 8 all channels, from Motel full fare down to their most heavily discounted Searcy fares. Any normal AR fare, made available months in advance in the normal way, is made available through all channels. Web fares, however, are different Super than normal fares. They typically constitute less than one tenth of 1% of the fares 8 an airline offers, and are normally made available only a few days before flight time, and only on flights Motel which have an unusually high number of Searcy empty seats. AR Web fares thus are seldom available, are unpredictable, and are offered Super at 8 and Motel and Searcy and AR and Super and 8 very low prices. Our agreements not only contain no provision Motel barring any airline from making any fare available through Searcy any channel, they contain an affirmative non-exclusivity provision that makes it explicit that no airline is prevented from making any fare it chooses available AR through any channel it chooses. Our agreement contains a non-discrimination clause by which those airlines that will receive the Super indirect discount on the CRS booking fee agree in return to make available 8 on any fare they publish Motel and Searcy and make AR available to the general public through any other channel.
